Job summary

CBRE is seeking a Construction EHS Specialist to monitor data center projects across Abilene, Haskell, Vernon, and Wichita Falls TX. On-site role with relocation assistance for the right candidate.

You will oversee GC EHS performance, conduct safety tours, lead incident investigations, and support design reviews throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring compliance and safe operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 5+ years of construction safety representative experience; data center or mission-critical experience preferred.
• 2+ years supporting safety programs and overseeing GC/subcontractor safety compliance.
• Ability to read architectural drawings and understand contracts; proficient with MS Office/Google Suite.
• Knowledge of building codes, NFPA 70e, NEC; detail-oriented and highly organized.
• Ground-up construction experience including MEP, heavy equipment, environmental and electrical safety.

Responsibilities

• Monitor GC EHS performance to ensure compliance with practices, requirements, and contract terms.
• Provide site data on EHS performance, trends, incidents, and KPIs to DC management.
• Lead safety meetings and notices to ensure effective communication across GC teams.
• Conduct daily site safety tours with GC management and owner representatives.
• Support risk and hazard assessments and participate in incident investigations.
• Assist in design reviews across Life Cycle and support Data Center EHS Plan development.
