Job summary

DSV in New Albany, OH is seeking a Data Center Team Lead - Dock on the A-Shift to manage material orders, inventory, and server/electronic component installations.

Responsibilities include overseeing loading/unloading, quality checks, cycle counts, and cabling installations within a datacenter, using various hand and power tools. Strong safety awareness and accurate work are essential.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of related experience is required.
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills are required.
• Knowledge of electrical safety and static discharge hazards and protocols is required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee loading and unloading of inbound and outbound freight to and from vehicles and containers, including shipping documents.
• Perform quality checks on inbound and outbound freight for accurate part numbers and condition.
• Execute daily inventory cycle counts and replenishment orders for critical spare parts on site at the datacenter.
• Process return shipments of various electronic components using warehouse management systems.
• Oversee placement of server racks and installation of components with diagrams and schematics.
• Install rack hardware and cabling using hand and power tools.
• Operate material handling equipment such as straddle stackers and pallet jacks.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area following 5S standards and safety procedures.
• Demonstrate punctuality, reliability, and attention to detail; cross-train across departments.
