Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Lead Data Center Project Engineer to support rapid deployment of hyperscale and AI data centers nationwide. This role demands extensive travel and leadership of field crews to install and test cabling infrastructure and hardware.

You will guide deployment schedules, mentor junior staff, and ensure safety and quality standards while coordinating with internal and client teams throughout multi-site builds.

Qualifications

• Structured cabling and rack-and-stack deployment experience.
• Experience with fiber optic and copper cabling installation.
• Ability to lead field teams and coordinate with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead and perform cabling deployments in hyperscale and AI data centers.
• Install, route, terminate, label, and test fiber and copper cabling.
• Coordinate network hardware installation and ensure proper cable management.
• Lead project meetings and provide guidance to junior engineers and technicians.
