Job summary

Align is seeking a Lead Data Center Cabling Technician to support large-scale cabling installations for AI and hyperscale data centers nationwide. This hybrid role combines field leadership with hands-on work, advancing beyond a foreman role toward a Superintendent position.

You will assist the Superintendent with planning, standards enforcement, and on-site execution while collaborating with technicians, contractors, and vendors. The role requires 75% travel and strong technical skills.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years in structured cabling or fiber systems, data center or mission-critical preferred.
• Experience leading small cabling crews (foreman/lead).
• Ability to read cabling drawings, rack elevations, labeling standards.

Responsibilities

• Support cabling installations in data centers and coordinate daily work under the Superintendent.
• Conduct on-site QA checks for terminations, labeling, routing, and test results.
• Assist with standards, patch schedules, port maps, and drawings per TIA/BICSI.
• Communicate field progress and material needs to leadership.
• Support documentation, RFIs, change orders, and QA/QC actions.
