Job summary

Amazon is seeking an executive leader to oversee data center operations as Infrastructure Delivery Cluster Manager. This senior role drives sustainable processes, standardizes procedures, and advances automation to improve delivery while preserving network integrity.

You will lead capacity delivery, supervise installation, manage budgets, and guide a diverse team across AWS data centers, with travel up to 10-20% and collaboration with global partners.

Qualifications

• 5+ years management experience in operations, critical infrastructure, manufacturing, production, or distribution environment.
• 3+ years’ experience implementing LEAN/6 Sigma methodology (continuous improvement, DMAIC/DVADV, 5 Whys, Root Cause analysis, etc.)
• 7+ years of experience in working with network cabling, optic types, and test equipment in a data center environment.
• Experience with system management tools and client/server environments (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Prioritize and assign tasks to data center technicians and operators, project management, coaching, and creating documentation.
• Manage inbound capacity from receiving through deployment stages
• Manage the installation network and cabling infrastructure in a data center environment
• Guide, train and educate staff on best practices related to all service owner issues
• Manage tasks and deliverables across small to large-size projects
• Recommend, document, and oversee policies and procedures to meet industry best practices and SLAs
• Provide weekly report to the data center manager
• Coordinate team resources to support project and delivery needs, including emergency projects and maintenance windows
• Recruit and train data technicians to ensure appropriate staffing levels
• Host weekly staff meetings
• Drive compliance to Amazon performance management requirements
• Up to 10-20% travel
