Innova Solutions is hiring a Critical Infrastructure Engineer for Charlotte, NC. This full-time, contract-to-hire role operates on the second shift (3:00 pm–12:00 am) onsite, supporting critical electrical infrastructure in a data center environment.

You will manage UPS, ATS, diesel/natural gas generators, and switchgear, with emphasis on reliability, safety, and incident response. Requirements include a bachelor’s in EE or related field and 3–7+ years in similar facilities.

Competenze

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field is required or equivalent practical experience.
3–7+ years in critical facilities or data center operations.
Hands-on experience with UPS, generators, ATS/STS, and switchgear.

Mansioni

Operate, monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot critical electrical infrastructure in the data center.
Ensure continuous power availability for UPS, ATS, generators, switchgear, and distribution systems.
Perform routine inspections, testing, and preventative maintenance on critical systems.
Respond to alarms and incidents to minimize downtime and coordinate with vendors for repairs.
Support capacity planning and document SOPs, MOPs, and EOPs.
