Job summary

Ascent, LLC seeks a Critical Facilities Technician to support Voorhees, NJ data center operations. You will assist in field coordination, maintenance of critical equipment and environmental systems, and vendor management to ensure uptime.

The role focuses on electrical/HVAC maintenance, preventive schedules, and safety compliance. Strong organization and communication are essential for coordinating with teams and clients to meet schedules.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience as a Critical Facilities Technician or similar role.
• High School diploma or equivalent; BS/Technical degree preferred.
• Knowledge of building controls, fire systems, and security systems.
• Proficiency with MS Excel, Word, and project scheduling tools.
• Ability to lead meetings and coordinate with customers and contractors.

Responsibilities

• Assist in on-site field coordination supervision and project support for data center operations.
• Assist in management of critical equipment and environment systems (life safety, mech, electrical).
• Maintain preventive and emergency maintenance schedules and coordinate with vendors.
• Overssee subcontractors to ensure proper installation and service delivery.
• Troubleshoot emergencies and organize resolutions; provide field technical support.
• Support development of SOPs, ERP, and change control programs.
