Job summary

Ascent, LLC seeks a diligent Critical Facilities Technician to support the operation of a data center facility in Voorhees, NJ. You will assist in field coordination, maintenance, and systems integration to ensure uptime.

The role requires 2+ years of relevant experience, a high school diploma (BS preferred), and proficiency with MS Excel, Word, and Project; AutoCAD is a plus.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience as a Critical Facilities Technician or related role.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• BS or Technical Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Field preferred.
• Knowledge of building controls, fire systems, security systems.
• Proficiency with MS Excel, MS Word, MS Project; AutoCAD a plus.
• Strong planning, scheduling, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in on-site field coordination supervision for data center operation.
• Assist in management of mission critical equipment and systems.
• Coordinate life safety, mechanical, plumbing, and power activities.
• Report discrepancies to managers and clients.
• Oversee maintenance schedules and vendors.
• Troubleshoot emergencies and provide technical support.
• Perform daily inspections and scheduled maintenance.
