Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL) seeks a Critical Environment - Building Maintenance Technician in Charlotte, NC to uphold mission-critical data center infrastructure. You’ll monitor UPS, generators, cooling, and power distribution, ensuring 100% uptime and safe operations.

Candidates should have hands-on data center experience and strong communication skills. You'll work with advanced technology in a fast-paced environment, handle CMMS work orders, and respond to emergencies.

Qualifications

• 2+ years hands-on experience in a data center or critical facility.
• Experience with mission-critical building systems (UPS, generators, switchgear, power distribution).
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to document activities clearly.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain critical building systems to ensure uptime.
• Monitor and adjust HVAC, chillers, pumps, and electrical equipment.
• Record readings, analyze operations, and take corrective actions.
• Manage work orders in CMMS and coordinate with vendors.
• Understand data center infrastructure to manage incidents effectively.
• Follow emergency procedures and maintain safety standards.
