Job summary

Apple Inc. seeks a Critical Facilities Technician to support data center operations in Mesa, AZ. You will maintain and operate high-availability cooling and electrical systems within a regulated environment, ensuring reliability for Apple’s global infrastructure.

Responsibilities include inspecting equipment, following procedures, and collaborating with cross-functional teams and vendors. This role involves rotating shifts, overtime possible, and strict safety adherence.

Qualifications

• Experience with mechanical, electrical and/or fire life safety systems.
• Ability to read and interpret fire, electrical and mechanical drawings.
• Ability to sit, stand, bend, stoop, push, pull, reach and lift up to 75 lbs.
• Ability to work extended hours in a Data Center environment with heat up to 110°F.
• Ability to climb and use ladders of various types.

Responsibilities

• Regularly inspect and supervise critical equipment and respond to irregular or malfunctioning conditions.
• Complete assigned tasks efficiently and without disruption to the business.
• Follow established procedures for assigned activities.
• Collaborate cross functionally with teams as well as vendors and suppliers to achieve goals.
• Follow all federal, state, and local regulations for operations and work safety.
• Use appropriate PPE such as ARC Flash suits and/or coveralls in a variety of environments.
