Job summary

Verisign seeks a Critical Facilities Engineer to join our team responsible for facility planning, design, installation and upgrading of critical facilities infrastructure within the Verisign network.

You will support data center services, track space, power and cooling, maintain critical infrastructure, and manage vendor relationships while ensuring reliability and uptime. Shift is 7am-3:30pm with on-call rotation and opportunities for growth in a dynamic, safety‑conscious environment.

Qualifications

• Must have 5+ years in telecom or related industry with focus on facility engineering maintenance, power and mechanical systems operations.
• Solid understanding of power and HVAC systems, 480 V 3 phase utility power, diesel generators, UPS, 48 V DC, and chiller plants.
• Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external personnel.

Responsibilities

• Provide logistical and engineering support for data center services, tracking space, power and cooling requirements.
• Maintain and upkeep of data center space, power and environmental infrastructure systems and data center management.
• Plan projects, reports and manage vendors.
