Job summary

Meta is seeking a Critical Facility Engineer to join our Data Center Facility Operations team. You will oversee hands-on operation and maintenance of critical mechanical, electrical, and controls systems that keep data centers running safely and reliably around the clock.

Responsibilities include executing work orders, inspecting equipment, and coordinating with vendors, with opportunities to grow in AI-enabled facilities management. The role may require night shifts and holidays.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in electrical, HVAC, mechanical, or controls maintenance.
• AA engineering degree with 3+ years experience or BS with 1+ year.
• Able to lift 45 pounds and work nights/holidays.

Responsibilities

• Perform hands-on operation and maintenance per site procedures.
• Complete work orders in Hexagon EAM.
• Inspect equipment and safety routes for faults.
• Troubleshoot, upgrade systems, and order parts.
• Coordinate with vendors and supervise subcontractors.
• Work on a shift schedule.
