Job summary

CyrusOne seeks a dedicated team member to support 24/7/365 data center operations under the direction of the Sr Facility Manager. The role focuses on safe, reliable O&M activities, coordination with vendors, and adherence to established building rules.

Ideal candidates will demonstrate strong communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills, with the ability to work independently when required and contribute to continuous improvement in data center performance.

Responsibilities

• Responsible to the Sr Facility Manager for completing assigned tasks in Data Center Operations and any non-DC spaces.
• Knows the building operations rules for the facilities under care as provided by the Sr Facility Manager.
• Performs related services such as janitorial tasks, inventory management, and internal departmental tasks as required.
• Fulfills other duties as assigned by the Sr Facility Manager.
• Coordinates with contractors and vendors for safe, effective maintenance and project work.
• Works with safety, security and clients; reports potential problems to management.
• Receives OJT and specialized training in areas of specialization.
• Provides equipment evaluations or suggestions for scope of work for outside contractors as needed.
• Performs duties to ensure high standards of workmanship are met.
• Adheres to Company, government and client policies and regulations as directed by leadership.
