Job summary

Planes Moving & Storage Company is seeking a Commercial Data Center Crew Driver in Columbus, OH. You will support the delivery, installation, decommissioning, and migration of data server racks while safely transporting crews and equipment to and from job sites.

This hands-on role requires attention to detail, reliability, and a strong commitment to safety, with a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends as needed. Competitive hourly pay applies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to follow safety procedures.
• Must pass background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate company vehicles to transport crews and equipment to and from job sites.
• Load, transport, secure, and unload server racks and equipment.
• Perform rack installations, decommissions, and migration services.
• Uncrate and re-crate servers and position racks within data centers.
• Operate equipment such as pallet jacks and moving tools.
• Secure loads using straps and safety procedures.
• Conduct basic vehicle inspections and report issues.
• Maintain clean work areas, vehicles, and loading docks.
• Follow all safety protocols and report hazards.
• Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and dispatch.
• Attend required training sessions.
