Cumming Group is seeking an Associate Director of Cost Management (Data Centers) in Chicago, IL. Lead the Cost & Commercial Management team, oversee fee proposals, and drive client relationships while maintaining project budgets and ensuring quality cost estimates.

The role requires a strong background in MEP or data center project management, with professional accreditation, and the ability to develop staff and win new business. Full-time, on-site position with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Manage and supervise the Cost & Commercial Management team on assigned projects.
• Oversee fee proposals, contracts, and cost estimates quality.
• Develop staff through supervision, training, and mentorship.

Responsibilities

• Oversee a large client by supervising the client management and Cost & Commercial Management team.
• Promote opportunities for repeat business and cultivate client references through performance.
• Maintain monthly project budgets for current and forecasted expenditures.
• Responsible for monthly billing and projections.
• Lead staff development through supervision, coaching, and mentoring; support recruitment.
• Fee proposal development and management.
• Coordinate with other business units for integrated service delivery.
• Provide mentorship on measurement methods, contracts, and delivery methods.
• Participate in industry events and develop client relationships to generate revenue.
• Manage areas assigned including revenue and margins, meeting fee revenue and profitability targets.
• Demonstrate ability to sell services across service lines.
