Job summary

A global professional services company seeks a Lead Cost Manager to support a $4B data center development program. This role includes leading cost management activities and providing commercial leadership across all phases of the project. The ideal candidate will possess over 8 years of experience in cost management, preferably within the data center construction sector. Strong communication skills and the ability to travel for client meetings are essential. Remote work options are available, favoring candidates in Chicago or Indianapolis.

Qualifications

• 8–10+ years of cost management or project controls experience.
• Data center construction experience strongly preferred.
• Professional accreditation (RICS or similar) strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead cost management activities across a large, multi-phase data center program.
• Support the development and implementation of cost strategies, frameworks, and reporting structures.
• Manage full-lifecycle cost activities including estimating and cost controls.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Engineering or related field
