Cumming Group, a leading cost and commercial management consultancy, seeks an Associate Director to lead Cost & Commercial Management on major projects in Chicago. You will supervise a team, prepare fee proposals and negotiate services agreements, while driving client relationships and new revenue.

Qualifications

• BS in Construction, Cost & Commercial Management, Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or related field.
• 6 to 12 years in Cost & Commercial Management or Quantity Surveying with professional accreditation.
• Preferred Certification: MRICS, AssocRICS, CCP, CEP, CPE or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Oversee a large client by supervising communications with the client management and Cost & Commercial Management team.
• Promote opportunities for repeat business and create favorable references through performance and client relationship management.
• Maintain monthly project budgets and forecasted expenditures.
• Responsible for monthly billing and projections.
• Lead staff development through supervision, training, coaching and mentoring.
• Support recruitment and talent acquisition; fee proposal development & management.
