Job summary

Rowan Digital Infrastructure seeks an analytical Cost Controls Manager to bridge construction and finance. You will forecast cash flows, reconcile actuals, and drive alignment between field progress and financial performance.

You will build relationships with subcontractors, lead monthly closings, and support strategic decisions with robust cost analyses. A senior role in a dynamic, hybrid Denver environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of cost control, accounting, or financial management experience in construction.
• Experience managing project cost controls for large-scale projects (budgets >$500M preferred).
• Expertise in Excel and cross-functional collaboration across finance and operations.

Responsibilities

• Budgeting & Cost Management: monitor budgets and track monthly construction progress.
• Contract & Subcontractor Oversight: manage contracts, POs, change orders, cost impact assessments.
• Reporting & Executive Communication: monthly closings and executive summaries.
• Strategic Analysis & Assumptions: develop financial assumptions with cross-functional input.
• Invoicing & Reconciliation: lead monthly invoicing and reconcile forecasted cash flows.
• Cash Flow & Forecasting: build detailed cash flow forecasts with subs and CM teams.
