Job summary

Danfoss in Ohio is seeking a Product Applications Engineer to be the technical expert for liquid cooling components in data centers. You will help qualify and deploy quick disconnects, hoses, and CDU assemblies in hyperscale environments, influencing product strategy and roadmaps. You will collaborate with customers, translate requirements into development inputs, and support design wins with engineering and operations, contributing to reliability and sustainability in data center cooling.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in applications, product or field engineering.
• Experience in data centres, cooling systems, or fluid conveyance.
• Ability to interpret specifications, drawings and system requirements.
• Strong communication and customer-facing skills for presentations and training.
• Familiar with Teamcenter, SAP and Salesforce.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the technical expert for liquid cooling components in data center architectures.
• Lead engineering engagement with hyperscalers, integrators, OEMs/ODMs and CDU manufacturers.
• Manage product qualification timelines, feasibility and validation testing, and trackers.
• Execute quotation and part activation with Sales, coordinating cost and lead time.
• Deliver training, webinars, and technical presentations, capturing Voice of Customer insights.
