Job summary

Danfoss is seeking a Product Applications Engineer to advance data center liquid cooling solutions. You will be a technical expert shaping product strategy and supporting qualification, deployment, and field engagements.

You’ll collaborate with sales and engineering to drive reliability, efficiency, and sustainable cooling, with travel within Northern California as needed. The role emphasizes cross‑functional teamwork, qualification activities, and hands‑on guidance from concept to production.

Qualifications

5+ years of experience in applications, product, or field engineering, preferably in data centers or cooling systems.
Ability to interpret customer specifications, drawings, and system requirements (flow, pressure, materials).
Strong communication and customer-facing skills for technical presentations and training.

Responsibilities

Serve as a technical expert on liquid cooling components within data center architecture (racks, manifolds, cold plates, CDUs).
Lead engineering engagement with hyperscalers, integrators/OEM‑ODMs, and CDU manufacturers, including weekly technical touchpoints and onsite support.
