Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. seeks a Controls Technician to join the Data Center Controls Engineering team. You will install, test, and startup BMS and EPMS systems in AWS data centers, driving reliability and customer experience through robust building automation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; 1+ years in industrial controls or HVAC controls.
• 1+ years of experience with low voltage controls, wiring, networking signals, electrical and mechanical systems.
• Basic understanding of industrial controls systems, meters, devices, sensors, relays and troubleshooting tools.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, service, and upgrade BMS and EPMS systems across data centers.
• Mentor Facilities team members on operation and control of BMS and EPMS systems.
• Manage small to medium-sized projects and programs.
• Perform point-to-point checkouts between field devices and controllers.
• Execute diagnostics, troubleshooting, and maintenance of programming code and hardware.
