Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. is seeking a Controls Technician to support Service & Construction of Building Management Systems (BMS) and Electrical Power Monitoring System (EPMS) within Amazon data centers.

You will install, troubleshoot, and maintain field sensors, controllers, wiring, and networking for industrial controls, while assisting in commissioning and startup activities. The role includes supervising low-voltage electrical work, documenting systems, and participating in safety and

Qualifications

• High school or equivalent diploma is required.
• Basic understanding of industrial controls, meters, devices, sensors, relays, and troubleshooting tools.
• 1+ year experience with low voltage controls, wiring, networking, and electrical/mechanical systems.
• Ability to work non-standard hours, shifts, and overtime as required.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, service, and upgrade BMS and EPMS systems across multiple data centers.
• Mentor Facilities team on operation and control of BMS/EPMS.
• Manage small to mid-size projects and programs.
• Perform point-to-point checkouts between field devices and controllers.
• Troubleshoot and maintain programming code and hardware for BMS/EPMS.
