Job summary

SpaceXAI is seeking a Controls Technician to support the implementation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of control systems for our data centers and infrastructure. This role involves hands-on work with BMS, EPMS, SCADA systems, PLCs, and other industrial controls to ensure reliable operation of critical systems like cooling, power distribution, and safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years hands-on experience with industrial control systems.
• Experience with Ignition SCADA and Siemens TIA Portal.
• Familiarity with IEC 61131-3 languages is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing and modifying BMS, EPMS, and SCADA per engineer specs.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of chillers, pumps, power distribution.
• Support updating HMI graphics and interfaces for monitoring.
• Maintain automated controls for fire safety and ESOP.
• Monitor and report key metrics like PUE and infra performance via dashboards.
• Coordinate with teams to respond to grid events and adjust systems.
