Job summary

SpaceXAI is seeking a Controls Technician to support the implementation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of control systems for data centers and infrastructure. You will work hands-on with BMS, EPMS, SCADA, PLCs, and other industrial controls to ensure reliable operation of cooling, power distribution, and safety protocols.

Responsibilities include supporting HMIs, monitoring performance via dashboards, and coordinating with engineers to respond to grid events in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years hands-on experience with industrial control systems.
• Experience with Ignition SCADA or similar programming.
• Familiarity with Siemens TIA Portal or equivalent PLC programming.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the implementation and modification of BMS, EPMS, and SCADA systems per engineer specs.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of chillers, pumps, and power distribution.
• Update HMIs and interfaces for system monitoring.
• Maintain automated controls for fire safety and emergency shutdown procedures.
• Monitor key metrics (e.g., PUE) via dashboards and reports.
• Coordinate with teams to respond to utility grid events.
