Job summary

E Tech Group is seeking a Controls Technician to support the commissioning of data centers. This onsite role requires commuting distance from Lithia Springs, GA, and focuses on installing, calibrating, wiring, testing, and documenting the BMS and EPMS systems.

You will work with PLCs, HMIs, and vendor systems, perform loop tests, and troubleshoot control networks. The job emphasizes collaboration, safety, and delivering reliable instrumentation in fast-paced facilities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with at least 3 years in the field or related area.
• Basic understanding of control system components, wiring, and networking.
• Excellent performance in stressful environments.

Responsibilities

• Support the installation and commissioning of the data center Building Management System (BMS) and Electrical Power Monitoring System (EPMS).
• Verify and troubleshoot control system I/O wiring.
• Perform field calibration of instrumentation when required.
• Perform loop testing of device data points to verify integration with SCADA.
• Perform functional testing of PLCs, HMIs, and vendor systems.
• Document testing progress and results using spreadsheets and online tracking tools.
