Job summary

TechPro Power Group is seeking an Electrical Commissioning Field Service Technician to support a large Data Center project in Atlanta, GA. The role requires hands-on testing, switchgear maintenance, and close collaboration with customers and internal teams.

The position is full-time with travel to various project sites across the U.S., and a strong emphasis on safety and documentation. Per diem and demobilization support are available, with immediate start possible.

Qualifications

• Expertise in switchgear installation, testing and maintenance in industrial/data-center settings.
• Knowledge of OSHA and NFPA 70E safety standards.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics.
• Proficiency with testing tools such as megohmmeters and multimeters.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform Acceptance Testing for electrical equipment in Data Center Facilities.
• Safely use hand and power tools, metering & testing equipment, and precision instruments.
• Collaborate with internal teams and customers to complete projects within defined timelines.
• Follow safety protocols and adhere to regulations.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
