Job summary

Applied Digital is seeking a Data Center Controls Engineer – Operational SME to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of control systems in our data centers. You will monitor mechanical, electrical, and environmental systems, ensuring reliable, efficient, and secure operations.

The role requires deep expertise in BMS/EPMS, automation, and project leadership. Bachelor's in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or Computer Science with 5+ years in data centers is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent experience in electrical/mechanical/CS disciplines.
• 5+ years in data center operations, controls engineering, or similar.
• Experience with BMS/EPMS and automation systems; strong troubleshooting and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and maintain control systems for data centers (BMS/EPMS/automation).
• Troubleshoot complex electrical, mechanical, and control issues; perform root-cause analysis.
