Job summary

Jacobs seeks a CSA Construction Technical Services Specialist to support world‑class data center projects from Greenville, SC, with field deployments in Spartanburg. You will interpret drawings, coordinate with engineers and clients, and help control document revisions on a rapidly evolving construction program.

The role emphasizes collaboration, mentorship, and maintaining rigorous design and field change control across multiple teams in a hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

• 4–7 years in civil/structural/architectural engineering or 8–10 years in heavy‑industrial construction management.
• Basic understanding of construction means, methods, codes and standards.
• Experience interpreting home office documents for construction purposes.

Responsibilities

• Resolve in‑progress issues and expedites responses from engineers for project needs.
• Liaise with home office engineering, outside firms, and client reps.
• Provide on‑site technical support interpreting drawings and specs.
• Engage in permitting with authorities having jurisdiction (AHJs).
• Coordinate with design‑build contractors during field work.
• Ensure revision control for construction documents and field sketches.
