Job summary

CenCore Group seeks an experienced Construction Surveillance Technician (CST) to support secure construction at a data center facility. You will monitor site activity, access control, and compliance with security protocols, construction standards, and safety requirements.

Work closely with construction managers, security personnel, project managers, and stakeholders to maintain site integrity throughout construction, document incidents, and provide regular updates on issues and follow-up actions.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid U.S. Passport Book or Passport Card.
• 3–5 years CST experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in construction surveillance or related field.
• Knowledge of security protocols in construction.
• Understanding site safety and security requirements.
• Strong observational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and reporting abilities.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Organizational and record-keeping skills.
• Ability to work independently and with teams.
• Experience with surveillance equipment and security systems.
• Ability to address issues promptly and professionally.

Responsibilities

• Conduct continuous surveillance of construction site activity to ensure security compliance, standards, and safety.
• Monitor and control access to the construction site, ensuring only authorized personnel may enter.
• Verify that construction activities align with approved plans and security requirements.
• Perform regular site inspections to confirm work meets quality, safety, and security standards.
• Identify, document, and report security breaches, safety violations, non-compliance issues, or suspicious activity.
• Maintain detailed daily logs, incident reports, and site observations.
• Coordinate with construction managers, security staff, and stakeholders to resolve concerns.
• Provide regular updates and reports on site activity and follow-up actions.
• Support safe site operations by following safety protocols.
