Job summary

PCL Construction Services, Inc. is seeking a highly motivated Superintendent to support its national data center business unit.

Based across Texas, Arizona, Oregon, and Utah, you will lead field teams, develop the project execution plan, and coordinate with clients and trades to ensure safety, schedule, budget, and quality on complex data center projects. You will drive project plans, liaise with engineers and subcontractors, and maintain strong customer relationships while ensuring conformance

Qualifications

• Journeyman certificate or engineering degree or related discipline required.
• NCSO designation required (IND).
• Gold Seal program enrollment preferred.
• 10 years of progressive field supervision experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Works with project manager to ensure implementation of PCL’s safety program and integrate it into site plans and procedures.
• Supervises, directs, coaches, trains, and mentors the project team including direct and indirect reports.
• Effectively communicates with own forces and trades to meet performance, productivity, quality, and safety requirements.
• Collaborates with the construction/project manager and team; proactively manages problems and schedule conflicts.
• Liaises between field engineers, estimators, and subcontractors to ensure conformance with drawings and specs.
• Maintains client and stakeholder relationships and coordinates with site representatives.
• Plans and creates the project schedule, identifies critical path, and anticipates constructability issues.
• Develops and implements the Project Execution Plan and three-week lookahead schedules.
• Creates and maintains the project plan, ensuring budget and quality compliance.
• Reviews contracts and subcontracts to identify risks and opportunities and meet financial targets.
