Job summary

Fermi Inc is seeking an experienced Owner's Scheduler to coordinate and validate the integrated project schedule for data center construction in Texas. You will review contractor schedules, verify progress, and ensure adherence to contractual requirements, with a focus on fast-track, MEP-intensive delivery and commissioning-driven milestones.

The role requires strong Primavera P6 skills, CPM knowledge, and excellent communication to present status to leadership and stakeholders.

Qualifications

3+ years of scheduling experience on construction projects.
Owner's-representative experience preferred.
Strong Primavera P6 proficiency and CPM knowledge.
Experience validating contractor schedules and change control.

Responsibilities

Review and validate contractor Primavera P6 schedules for data center projects.
Confirm WBS, logic, durations, and resource/cost loading across shell, MEP, and commissioning.
Validate the schedule baseline and enforce the change control process.
Independently verify updates and challenge contractor submissions.
Perform critical path, float analysis, and schedule risk assessments.
Coordinate long-lead equipment deliveries and commissioning sequencing.
Produce owner-side look-aheads, milestones, S-curves, and SPI reports.
Manage contractors to meet schedule requirements and ensure credibility.
Communicate schedule status to leadership and stakeholders.
