Job summary

Intuitive Safety Solutions (ISS) seeks an experienced Safety Manager to serve as an Owner's Representative for large-scale data center construction projects in Lithia Springs, GA. You will monitor safety performance, assess GC compliance, and provide professional observations and guidance to project leadership.

This contract role emphasizes independence, daily updates, risk trend analysis, and escalation of critical safety concerns while maintaining strong contractor relationships.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent experience in safety or construction management.
• Minimum 3 years construction safety experience; 5 years in specified environments if no degree.
• Experience with data center, mission-critical, or industrial projects preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily field safety observations on active construction projects.
• Monitor contractor compliance with CSMP and regulatory standards.
• Perform site inspections and CRA inspections and observe HRAs.
• Document observations, incidents and corrective actions in Procore.
• Analyze safety trends and escalate significant concerns to leadership.
• Prepare daily/weekly/monthly safety reports and participate in meetings.
• Exercise Stop Work Authority when imminent danger exists.
• Maintain independence while building contractor relationships.
