Job summary

Vantage Trades Group LLC in Atlanta, GA, seeks an experienced Safety Professional / Safety Manager for a long-term data center construction project. This full-time, on-site contract role requires independent work with project leadership, supervision, subcontractors, and craft personnel.

You will conduct field inspections, identify hazards, enforce OSHA standards, review JHAs/JSAs, and support training and incident investigations.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of construction safety experience.
• Active BCSP credential required — ASP, CSP, CHST, or other BCSP certification.
• Strong working knowledge of OSHA construction standards.
• Experience conducting jobsite inspections, audits, and hazard assessments.
• Strong knowledge of JHAs/JSAs, incident investigation, corrective actions, and safety documentation.
• Ability to effectively communicate and enforce safety expectations with field personnel and management.
• Strong written communication and reporting skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced construction environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct field safety inspections and audits.
• Identify and correct hazards on site.
• Monitor compliance with OSHA and project-specific safety requirements.
• Review JHAs/JSAs and support incident investigations.
• Support safety meetings and training activities.
• Maintain required safety documentation.
• Promote a strong safety culture across the project.
