Job summary

Medcor Safety is seeking a Construction Safety Professional to support a large data center construction project in Castroville, Texas. This full-time, field-based position works with crews, project leadership, contractors, and site management to promote safe work practices and maintain OSHA compliance.

The role offers $45.00–$50.00 per hour (W2), 50–60 hours per week, and per diem availability, with an anticipated 9–12 month duration. Previous data center safety experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of construction safety experience.
• Current CPR/First Aid certification.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA construction standards and practices.
• Experience conducting jobsite inspections and safety audits.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Maintain an active field presence and work with crews and leadership to promote safety and compliance.
• Identify hazards and mitigate risk with field personnel and management.
• Conduct regular jobsite safety inspections and audits.
• Observe and correct unsafe conditions, behaviors and practices.
• Document findings and ensure OSHA and client requirements are met.
• Assist with incident documentation and safety briefs.
• Collaborate with project teams, contractors, and external agencies.
