Job summary

Medcor Safety, a subsidiary of Medcor, is seeking a Safety Professional for a 9-12 month project focused on dirt and underground utilities for a new data center. Expect 50-60 hour weeks with pay range $45-50/hour (W2).

Responsibilities include auditing field crews, ensuring federal/state/local compliance, and developing safety plans while coordinating with site management and contractors.

Qualifications

• Current CPR / First Aid Card Required
• OSHA 30 Hour Construction Required
• CHST, OSHA 500 Preferred
• 5+ Years relevant safety experience required

Responsibilities

• Develop positive professional relationships with field personnel, all levels of management and outside agencies during all phases of construction.
• Coordinate and conduct audits of all crews to identify areas for improvement of unsafe work conditions and practices and recognize those for safe work practices.
• Document and communicate site audit information.
• Audit training records of all field personnel.
• Implement all federal, local, and site programs, policies, and procedures.
• Receive, review, and participate with the development of accident briefs, safety-related publications, bulletins, and reports.
• Participate with the development of Site-Specific Safety Plans and kick off/safety meetings
• Review client/owner specific requirements and determine our client complies.
