Job summary

Serverfarm is seeking a seasoned Quality Assurance Leader to oversee construction quality for data center projects. You will develop quality plans, conduct site inspections, and manage QA/QC and commissioning for MEP systems, ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

With 9–15 years in data center quality management, you will collaborate with engineers, PMs, and subcontractors to resolve issues, train teams, and maintain thorough documentation. Relocation assistance is available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• 9–15 years of experience in construction quality management, preferably in data centers.
• Knowledge of building codes, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
• Strong knowledge of data center infrastructure, MEP systems, and commissioning.
• Certifications such as CQE, LEED AP, or Uptime accreditation are a plus.
• Experience with QCxP accreditation is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a Quality Management Plan for each data center project.
• Regularly inspect sites to ensure adherence to standards and specs.
• Oversee QA/QC and commissioning for MEP systems and timelines.
• Collaborate with engineers, PMs, and contractors to resolve issues.
• Ensure safety, environmental guidelines, and industry standards compliance.
• Establish QC procedures for materials, workmanship, installations (HVAC, electrical, networking).
• Attend construction progress meetings and commissioning meetings.
• Train teams on quality control procedures and best practices.
• Conduct root-cause analysis on defects and propose corrective actions.
• Maintain documentation and reports on quality audits and actions.
