Job summary

Connect Search, LLC is seeking a Project Manager for data center construction in the Chicagoland area. You will lead complex, mission-critical projects from preconstruction through turnover, ensuring safety, schedule, and budget adherence.

The role requires 5+ years with a commercial GC, strong MEP knowledge, and proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project, and Primavera P6. Competitive salary and bonus program offered.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of project management experience with a commercial general contractor.
• Experience managing mission-critical and/or data center construction projects preferred.
• Strong understanding of MEP systems and complex building infrastructure.
• Proficient in Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, Primavera P6 or similar software.

Responsibilities

• Oversee data center construction projects from preconstruction to turnover.
• Develop and manage schedules, budgets, and cost forecasts.
• Coordinate with owners, architects, engineers, and subcontractors.
• Monitor safety, quality, and profitability.
• Mentor Project Engineers and support field leadership as the team grows.
