Our client, a technology company, is seeking a Construction Project Engineer to join their team in Phoenix, AZ. The role supports Construction Managers, general contractors, subcontractors, consultants, and project stakeholders, with a focus on organization, attention to detail, and clear communication.

The position offers hands-on field exposure on large-scale, mission-critical construction projects, with responsibilities spanning documentation control, change management, and field inspections.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of construction project engineering, field engineering, project coordination, or project management experience.
• Understanding of construction documents, specifications, RFI processes, and submittals.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Excel, and project management tools.

Responsibilities

• Support Construction Managers with day-to-day project execution activities and coordinate with contractors, consultants, and stakeholders.
• Monitor construction progress, track project milestones, and assist with schedule reviews and recovery plans.
• Manage project documentation including RFIs, submittals, NCRs, punch lists, turnover documents, and meeting minutes.
• Support change management activities, including tracking TIAs, CORs, change orders, and design changes.
• Assist with field walks, quality inspections, commissioning readiness activities, and turnover support.
