Job summary

GCON LLC is seeking an Assistant Project Manager in Phoenix to support data center, mission critical and manufacturing projects, emphasizing hands-on leadership and collaboration with teams, clients and trade partners.

You will assist the Project Manager and BUL, coordinating with clients and trade partners to drive profitability, schedule and project delivery while contributing to budgeting and risk management. A BS in construction management and 5+ years in related roles are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management or related field.
• 5+ years in commercial building general contractor project management.
• 3-5+ years supporting data centre projects.
• Experience with design of building systems for data centres.
• Knowledge of cost, scheduling, estimating, purchasing and engineering principles.
• Proficient with MS Project and Primavera P6; Procore and CMIC.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing complex datacenter and mission‑critical projects up to $100M+.
• Support preconstruction activities including estimating, buyout, logistics and scheduling.
• Assist Project Manager and BUL on new revenue pursuits and presentations.
• Maintain safety and quality through coordination with trade partners and A/E teams.
• Develop project budgets, forecasting and monitor financial performance.
