Job summary

Turner & Townsend is seeking an Owner's Representative Construction Manager to lead data center construction projects on-site in Abilene, TX. The role emphasizes managing the project budget, schedule, and vendor compliance with construction agreements.

You will coordinate with general contractors, control costs, review changes, and ensure QA/QC across multiple vendors and approvals, delivering successful occupancy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Construction or Engineering.
• Solid understanding of MEP construction management with a track record of leading capital projects.
• 5+ years of related experience.
• Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Lead all aspects of Data Center construction projects.
• Manage Master Project Schedule and Master Project Budget.
• Support contractor pre-qualification, bid solicitation and analysis.
• Negotiate contracts with client and counsel, including terms, mark-ups, fees, and labor rates.
• Coordinate and manage approvals, permits, and constructability reviews.
• Produce monthly cash flow projections and cost estimates with vendors.
• Lead owner-direct vendors and consultants; supervise OAC meetings and inspections.
• Ensure QA/QC compliance and manage invoices and payments.
