Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Manager III, Technology Operations Engineering on the Data Center Construction team to lead Construction Managers delivering data center capacity across a regional portfolio. You will own the construction lifecycle from pre-construction through procurement to onsite execution, driving safety, cost, quality, and schedule performance.

This role requires approximately 50% travel to construction sites across your region, giving you direct visibility into the work your team

Qualifications

• 2+ years of management experience.
• 4+ years of general contractor and vendor management experience in construction and project execution.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• Knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems in data center operations (feeders, transformers, generators, switchgear, UPS, ATS, PDU, chillers, pumps, AHU, CRAC).

Responsibilities

• Lead, hire, and develop Construction Managers and Project Engineers to build a high-performing team.
• Own regional construction program delivery, define metrics and workflows for safety, cost, quality, and schedule across multiple projects.
• Coordinate with Finance, Business Development, and cross-functional teams to develop budgets and align construction with capacity demand.
• Identify risks and opportunities across the construction lifecycle and balance short-term delivery with long-term improvements.
• Establish process improvements to reduce cost and duration while maintaining quality and reliability.
