Job summary

Actalent seeks a Construction Manager / Owner’s Representative for data center projects in the United States. The role oversees the full lifecycle from design through turnover, guiding design, construction, commissioning, and operations with cross-functional teams.

You will ensure performance, resiliency, and compliance by coordinating architects, engineers, contractors, and operations to protect the Owner’s investment and support long-term facility reliability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CM or related field and 7–10+ years in large-scale construction.
• Experience in mission-critical or data center environments (5+ years).
• Experience overseeing projects valued at $100M+ and fast-track delivery.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Owner's Representative and primary contact across design, construction, commissioning, and turnover phases.
• Lead Owner-side project meetings, steering committees, and milestone reviews.
• Align project execution with Owner’s objectives, standards, and risk policies.
• Support site selection, feasibility studies, and due diligence for decisions.
• Review design docs to ensure resiliency, scalability, and standards alignment.
• Coordinate with architects/engineers to validate constructability and codes.
