Job summary

Veksel Consulting and Contracting seeks an experienced Construction Manager to lead complex, mission-critical data center projects. You will oversee project execution, coordinate diverse stakeholders including owners, tenants, design-build partners, and contractors, and drive accountability for schedule, cost, quality, and safety.

The role emphasizes construction planning, budgeting, procurement, and vendor management to ensure operational readiness and reliability for strategic clients.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2–5 years of experience managing complex construction projects, preferably data centers or mission-critical facilities.
• Experience coordinating owners, tenants, general contractors, subcontractors, design teams, and client representatives.
• Strong understanding of construction planning, scheduling, budgeting, procurement, and project controls.
• Working knowledge of construction contracts, change management, and vendor administration.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, organization, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities with attention to detail and accountability.

Responsibilities

• Serve as lead for complex data center construction projects from planning through turnover.
• Coordinate schedules, budgets, quality, and safety across multiple stakeholders.
• Review and negotiate contractor and vendor contracts to protect cost and schedule integrity.
• Monitor milestones, identify delays, and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain strong focus on reliability, safety, and operational readiness.
