Job summary

AKS Engineering & Forestry, LLC is seeking a Construction Manager to lead field construction on data center development projects, ensuring safety, quality, and schedule compliance. You will coordinate TI, adaptive reuse, and complex building systems across multiple stakeholders.

Ideal candidates have 8+ years in large-scale construction, with TI/renovation experience and strong MEP knowledge, plus travel willingness; corporate office in Las Vegas and nationwide project sites demand flexibility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of professional experience managing commercial, industrial, mission-critical, or large-scale construction projects.
• Experience with TI, renovation, adaptive reuse, or interior fit-out projects preferred.
• Experience with data centers or mission-critical facilities desirable.
• Strong understanding of MEP, fire protection, and critical building systems.

Responsibilities

• Foster collaborative relationships with Owners, GCs, subcontractors, architects, engineers, consultants, commissioning teams, and other project stakeholders.
• Provide day-to-day oversight of field construction activities from pre-construction through project closeout.
• Coordinate TI, renovation, and adaptive reuse projects.
• Oversee MEP, HVAC, fire protection, and critical systems installation.
• Review contractor work plans, schedules, logistics plans, means and methods, and manpower allocations.
• Participate in pull planning and short-term look-ahead scheduling meetings to ensure efficient sequencing of work.
• Monitor contractor productivity, schedule performance, and resource utilization while identifying and mitigating potential delays.
• Ensure construction activities comply with contract requirements, project specifications, building codes, and applicable regulatory requirements.
