Job summary

Walbridge is expanding our team and seeking a Construction Assistant Superintendent to lead large-scale projects from feasibility through completion, including data center builds.

This role requires a strong general construction background, 5+ years supervisory experience, and willingness to travel 70% across the US to support client projects.

You will oversee scheduling, trades coordination, safety, quality, and stakeholder communication to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and 5+ years supervisory experience in facility construction technology, commercial or industrial projects.
• Experience on Commercial or Industrial projects with budgets of at least $15M.
• Experience in coordinating multiple trades and ensuring safety and quality.

Responsibilities

• Project Planning and Strategy: Plan and supervise construction activities, including determining methods, manpower, materials, equipment, and schedules.
• Team Leadership: Coordinate work with different crafts, departments, or contractors and maintain communication with unions.
• Resource Management: Monitor safety programs and ensure materials, equipment, and inspections support schedules.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Communicate with executives, clients, and vendors to ensure alignment.
• Performance Monitoring: Track progress and adjust plans to meet changing requirements.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure deliverables meet safety and quality standards.
• Innovation and Improvement: Seek ways to optimize processes with new technologies.
