Job summary

Walbridge is seeking a Construction Assistant Superintendent to lead large-scale projects, overseeing the full lifecycle from feasibility to completion and coordinating multiple trades to meet schedule, budget, and quality goals.

You will supervise craft teams, drive safety and performance metrics, and partner with clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders on a long-term data center build. Travel is frequent, up to 70%.

Qualifications

• 5+ years supervisory experience in facility construction technology, commercial or industrial projects.
• Budgets of at least $15M on commercial/industrial projects.
• Experience in MEP, Concrete, Steel, Underground Utilities, Fire Alarm, Building Finishes and Enclosure systems.
• US driver's license and passport; willingness to travel; travel ~70%.

Responsibilities

• Plan and supervise construction activities, determine methods, manpower, materials, equipment, and schedules; ensure compliance with drawings and specs.
• Coordinate work with different crafts/departments; communicate with unions.
• Monitor safety programs; ensure materials, equipment, and inspections support schedules.
• Communicate with executives, clients, and vendors to ensure alignment and address concerns.
• Track project progress with metrics and adapt plans to changing requirements.
• Ensure deliverables meet quality standards and regulations.
• Seek process improvements and new technologies to optimize outcomes.
