Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. in Shreveport, LA is seeking a Data Center Construction Manager to own scope, schedule, and budget for capital data-center builds.

You will partner with Operations, Networking, Controls, Security, and Commissioning to deliver reliable, energy-efficient facilities. You will lead a discipline and act as owner’s representative on sites from start to hand-off, manage bids, contracts, change orders, and drive cost, schedule, and quality across multiple data centers.

Qualifications

• Experience in construction of data center delivery and mission critical facilities.
• Experience in electrical distribution and large-scale mechanical cooling systems.
• Experience in construction program management of large, complex projects.
• Experience in project control (cost or schedule) for infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities

• Own project scope, quality, schedule, and budget for construction of new builds or capital projects.
• Own construction project management and oversight of construction activities.
• Collaborate with Operations, Networking, Controls, Security and Commissioning to build data centers that support customers.
• Lead your discipline (construction management, building services, architectural, electrical or mechanical).
• Represent Amazon’s owner’s representative on construction sites daily and interact with trades.
