Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. in Hobart/New Carlisle, IN is seeking a Construction Program Manager to own scope, schedule, and budget for data center builds and oversee construction activities across multiple sites.

You will collaborate with Operations, Networking, Controls, Security, and Commissioning, represent the owner's interests on site, and lead disciplines including electrical and mechanical engineering to deliver reliable, scalable data centers.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of management experience.
• 4+ years in construction management and vendor management.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems involved in data center operations.
• Experience hiring, developing, and managing high-performing technical teams.
• Experience as a general contractor and in vendor management (RFPs, bidding, change orders).

Responsibilities

• Act as construction representative on data center sites, coordinating with general contractors.
• Create SOWs and RFIs; manage bids, awards, and closeout.
• Lead cost, schedule, and quality control across projects.
• Coordinate with Operations, Networking, Controls, Security, and Commissioning teams.
• Provide constructability reviews for civil, structural, electrical and mechanical designs.
