Job summary

Walbridge is seeking a Construction Assistant Superintendent to lead large-scale data center projects from feasibility through completion, overseeing planning, budgets, schedules, and the assembly of qualified project teams. You will supervise craft workers, coordinate multiple trades, enforce safety programs, and monitor progress with regular reporting to executives, clients, and vendors.

This role requires 70% travel and a willingness to work on long-term client projects from Van Buren

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
5+ years of supervisory experience in facility construction tech, commercial or industrial projects.
Experience on Commercial/Industrial projects with budgets of at least $15M.
Experience in MEP, Concrete, Steel, Underground Utilities, Fire Alarm, Building Finishes and Enclosure systems.
US driver's license and valid passport; willingness to travel; travel ~70%.

Responsibilities

Plan and supervise construction activities, determine methods, manpower, materials, equipment, and schedules.
Coordinate work with crafts, departments, or contractors; resolve problems; maintain union communication.
Monitor safety programs; ensure materials, equipment, and inspections support schedules.
Communicate with executives, clients, and vendors to ensure alignment and address concerns.
Track project progress with metrics; adjust plans to meet changing requirements.
Ensure deliverables meet quality standards and regulatory requirements.
Seek innovations to optimize processes and project outcomes.
