Job summary

Pogue Construction is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to join our team in Texas. This role focuses on managing fast-paced, complex projects for our Mission Critical and Data Center portfolio.

You will report to the Senior PM/PM, handle RFIs, submittals, and coordination with owners, architects, and subcontractors. We value hands-on construction experience, ESOP culture, and opportunity for growth within a family-oriented, faith-based company.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Construction Science preferred.
• 2-4 years in construction field serving onsite as Project Engineer or in similar APM role

Responsibilities

• Report directly to SPM/PM for your project
• Process RFIs and Submittals
• Assist with close out process
• Compile and submit subcontractor pricing (after review by SPM/PM)
• Lead Owner/Architect/Consultant meetings
• Lead coordination and final coordination meeting on storm shelters if required
• Complete coordination with major trades
• Review subcontractors pay applications
• Assemble owner billings
• Assist with buying out subcontracts
• Assist with putting together subcontract documents
• Attend and help estimating during bid days
• Base knowledge of project financials
• Knowledge of construction sequencing
• Other tasks as assigned
